Realism seldom intersects with trashy thrillers, but the pose show in Netflix’s Clickbait undermines the show’s logic and leaves viewers on unstable ground. Spoilers.
Criticising Netflix’s Clickbait for implausibility feels a bit like criticising a department of McDonalds for without a Michelin star – it’s missing out on the purpose. Of course Clickbait try implausible, it’s a McSpicy with fries, perhaps not Beluga caviar. It’s trashy and twisty and designed to keep you watching until they hands over some thing shaped like an ending, and then to discharge us into our everyday life together with the best long lasting impact are, ‘Oh yeah, We watched that.
